Crafty Cardmakers Challenge - For A Special Woman/Girl-Mother's Day

A new challenge starts today at Crafty Cardmakers.   Our theme is "For A Special Woman/Girl or Mother's Day".  My mom is not living so I rarely make a Mother's Day card.  I chose instead to make a Thank You card for my daughter, Donna.  Donna is a daughter like every mother should have.  She calls me almost every day and when I need her she's always right here.  Thank you, Donna, for being you.  I love you.

Card Supplies:
5X7 card base
Gold overlay was made using the new Anna Griffin Edge Dies. This was the only thing I bought during the HSN Craft Day on March 8.
Flower embellishment of your choosing.
AG sentiment
Ribbon - I found these hand tied bows at a fabric/pottery store in Galax while visiting my son & daughter-in-law last week.  I'll tell you about that visit later.

Thank you for visiting with me today.  I hope you will travel over to the Creative Cardmakers' Challenge and show us your beautiful creations.

God Bless You!!! Peggy

  3. Beautiful card, Peggy! Can't wait to see some beautiful flowers around here! Hope it's soon! I live in one of the areas that got hit by that big snow storm that's all over the news. Still, even the snow is one of God's creations and it's stunningly beautiful outside! Good luck with the Challenge Blog.

    1. Stay safe, Paula. I love to see it snowing. We don't get much here, so when it snows I stay in.
